Bay windows and bow windows are like mini room additions because they project out away from the house and can make a room seem bigger than it really is. They may even need a roof built over the outside of it. Bay windows and bow windows are quite pricey and the cost can range from $9,000 to $12,000 installed based on the size.

*** A less expensive option to a bay window or bow window is a series of windows that go flat across the wall for half the cost.  About $5,000 total installed price with all the new trim work included.

Black exterior windows can give your home some extra curb appeal that other homes in your neighborhood may not have. Black exterior windows cost $300 more than White. This is a nice design option to set your home apart.  Other exterior colors are also available.
